1/13/2013 0 Comments Praying with Purpose Happy Soul SONday Sanctuarians. We are on Day 4 of our 21 Day Daniel Fast: Growing Deeper. We have set this time aside to not only fast but to pray as well. We are sacrificing and petitioning God for various areas where we need Him to work a miracle, bring a change to a relationship, bring a revival to our lives and in His Sanctuary. And the combination of fasting and praying puts us in a position for a spiritual breakthrough. And the breakthrough we seek can only come by what the Bible instructed us....by Fasting and Praying. Now mind you, fasting and praying it is not a fad or a novelty approach to spiritual discipline. Fasting and praying are not part of a human-engineered method or plan. They are not the means to manipulate a situation or to create a circumstance. Fasting and praying are Bible-based disciplines that are appropriate for all believers of all ages throughout all centuries in all parts of the world to bring a relationship and deeper fellowship with our Heavenly Father. And it is imperative as you pray that you should have focus and a purpose to your prayers. So on this Soul SONday we want to share with on you on this journey to growing DEEPER how to “PRAY WITH PURPOSE”!
