6/17/2014 0 Comments God Provides…Trust That!Originally posted 6/25/13 ![]() There was nothing I could not ask my earthly Father for that he would not go through hell and earth to provide for me. I knew early on in life that he committed to being a provider of my spiritual and physical needs and whatever I asked I could trust that he would move heaven and earth to provide it. And this is the same kind of trust we should have in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. When we accepted Him into our hearts we become a child of God. One who is both born and adopted into the family of God. As such, we become the recipients of God’s personal care as a loving heavenly Father. As children of God, all believers become the personal responsibility of an all wise, sovereign, and all powerful God, who, as a heavenly Father, cares in an infinite way for each one of His children. Since God is concerned for each of us as His redeemed children, the Apostle Paul assures us this concern certainly extends to our basic daily needs (but not our greed). The Apostle wrote, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians. 4:19). This promise was made in connection with the financial support the Philippians had sent to Paul for his missionary ministry. He was assuring them that their giving would never be their lack. God would supply their needs, and the reason for His supply, was nothing less than “His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Governing God’s provision is nothing short of the wealth of what God has done for us in Christ. And as members of God’s family, all believers have direct access to God as their heavenly Father through their Great High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. While God knows our needs before we ask, and is intimately concerned, we are, nevertheless, to take our needs and those of others to God’s throne of grace in prayer. Prayer is where we confess sin, give thanks and praise to God, and make our needs known to our Heavenly Father in specific requests. But our greatest need is to be conformed into the image of God’s Son, the Lord Jesus. The Lord promises that God, as a father kind of God, will not give us a stone if we ask for bread, nor a snake if we ask for a fish. In His perfect love and wisdom, He only knows how to give what is best to us. Today on this Intercession Tuesday, let's enter His throne to pray to our Jehovah Jireh, who is the Lord that provides. Enter Into PrayerFather, I come to You now in the Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father, I pray with thanksgiving! I ask You to give me divine healing now in every area of my life, spirit, mind, will, emotions and physical being in accordance with Your Divine Plan and Order for my life. I receive Your Divine Healing, Wholeness and Newness of life, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Lord, I ask You to expand in me Your territories. Lord I ask for and receive beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness: for I am a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that You may be glorified, in Jesus’ Name. My prayer Lord, is that your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Heavenly Father, I ask you to give me the manifestation of every miracle and every healing You have for me and the manifestation of divine healing and divine health in my body. I will commit to earnestly remember You the Lord my God, for it is You who gives me the power to get wealth, that I may establish Your covenant which You swore to my forefathers. (Duet. 8:18) Your word says that a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children and the wealth of the sinner finds its way into the hands of the righteous for whom it was laid up. (Prov. 13:22). I know that wealth and provision is in my hand and I know that you are my God and you will liberally supply (fill to the fullest) my every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19). For You said that you would prosper me and that I would be in good health even as my souls prosper. (3 John 2) For You Lord God are a sun and shield; and you bestow present grace and favor and future glory, honor, splendor and heavenly bliss! No good thing will you withhold from me if I walk uprightly according to Psalm 84:11 and I commit to being obedient and walking upright to your Word.

6/10/2014 2 Comments Fan The Flame of Your Gift![]() Do you want to live an extraordinary life? Do you desire to have more boldness to take those leaps of faith to live in your divine destiny? Are you longing to have more joy and peace in your life? Do you seek more fulfillment? Do you want more of God’s power? I once answered yes to all of these questions. But once I came to grips with what was truly important and began to fan the flame of gifts that were burning inside of me, I became a pit bull terrier for my passion. I achieved this by drawing closer to God. I read and meditated on His Word more. I desired more knowledge. But most importantly, I prayed intently without ceasing and I removed those from around me that was abusing my gift for their own selfish desires. And I discovered the power to dream and act on God's vision for my life. So how is the fulfillment of vision meant to work in practical terms? What you were designed to be known for is your gift. God has put a gift or talent in every person. It is this gift that will enable you to fulfill your vision. It will make a way for you in life. It is in exercising this gift that you will find real fulfillment, passion, purpose, and contentment in your work. God gives us gifts and talents that will be a blessing to His body and the lost. He is no respecter of persons and He will open the doors for your gifts and your life ministry. But some of us have allowed our gift flame to die and go out or to become deferred. So many of us let the hardships of life, the abuse of our gifts, deferred manifestation to hinder us from walking in our gifts. Our Father, does not desire for us to let the gift of the Holy Spirit to lie dormant in our lives. 1 Timothy 4: 11 tells us, “Neglect not the gift that is IN you which was given you…" 2 Timothy 1:6-7 tells us this same truth slightly different, "This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline..” Every one of us who has received the Holy Spirit has within us great possibilities and unlimited ability. God has given to each one of us spiritual gifts to benefit His body and to glorify Himself. If we never activate and use these gifts they will be buried and lost in the grave eternally. A fire that is neglected will soon die out. God may have gifted you to teach. Not doing it (even in the smallest capacity) means your gift remains dormant. God may have given you the gift of Leadership, Giving, Faith, Administration, Wisdom, Healing, Helps, Encouragement just to name a few. What are your gifts? And are you putting all of them to use? Or have they settled at the bottom of your heart–lying dormant. Have you allowed fear to cripple you to complacency? I have discovered so much about my God given abilities and gifts once I surrendered this earthen vessel back to Him. Believe me I have been stretched and challenged but I have discovered so many facets to my giftings that I would have never known if I had allowed my gifts to remain doorman and I astounded at the fulfillment that I feel. Don’t let your gifts lay dormant! Enter into prayer to stir up the gifts…it's in you! Enter Into PrayerHeavenly Father I come to You now in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name and by the power of your Spirit. I apply the Blood of Jesus Christ over me and I ask You Lord Jesus Christ to multiply in me and impart every blessing, anointing, gifts, and impartations that You have for me. I know Father that every gift you freely bestow upon me and it is to be used for your glory. Heavenly Father, I ask You to stir the gifts in me and increase Your anointing without measure so that I can do Your Work and do Your Will in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, 6/3/2014 0 Comments The Power of AffirmationOriginally posted: June 4, 2013 Affirming God’s Word over yourself and others is crucial because it speaks life into your spirit, body and soul. Affirmation Prayer is a way of entering into prayer. It takes the example of Our Lord at prayer drawn from the accounts in the Gospels. In John 17:8, Jesus says to his Father in prayer: "For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them." The word "to affirm" means to strengthen, to endorse, to assert as true, to declare support for. It always expresses a relationship between the speaker and what is affirmed. It is a statement that paints a picture of the outcome. It is focused and intentional. In Affirmation Prayer we listen to these "words" and indeed to the One who "gave" them — for the Lord Jesus is himself the Word behind the words and is the Word within the words. There is a confidence and positiveness in the act of affirming. An affirmation is a declaration statement of who you will be after growth occurs. In affirmation prayer we humbly seek to affirm God, but in the process we ourselves are also affirmed. We proclaim with confidence and joy our total belief in and love of God using His own inspired Scriptures. It is a demonstration of unlimited expressions of faith, trust, dependence and love. As we offer these to God, we are strengthened, empowered, built up in our most Holy Faith, and equipped to deal with an unbelieving world. In Affirmation Prayer we demonstrate an intense desire to listen to Jesus Christ, the Word of God and to become united and abide in Him. On this Intercession, take to heart the following scriptures and you will understand the importance of speaking out loud all or some of the following scriptures over yourself every day. If you speak negative over yourself and others, you are speaking the words of the enemy and those words will hold you in bondage. Faith comes more quickly when you hear yourself quoting, speaking, and saying the things God said. You will more readily receive God’s Word into your spirit by hearing yourself say it out loud everyday will change your life. “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God” ~ Romans 10:17. Affirmation Prayer ✤ I recognize in faith that God has proven His love to me in sending His Son to die in my place, whereby every provision has already been made for my past, present, and future needs through His representative work whereby I have been quickened, raised, seated with Christ in the heavenlies and anointed with the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:6-11; 8:28-39. |
IntercessionPrayer is the expression of man’s dependence upon God and his confidence in Him. When God answers prayer, He magnifies His faithfulness. Prayer is releasing the energies of God and asking God to do what we cannot do. Prayer is the breathing and panting of the Spirit after God. Prayer is a soul struggle. It is the hardest work God has given His children, but it is their most important work. If you have a Archives
