10/28/2014 1 Comment Prayer Can Turn It!![]() I hear so many people confess to feeling beaten and battered by life. They feel like they spend more time losing than winning and like their lives are stuck in some kind of downward spiral that they can't get out of. They feel stuck. Maybe that describes you today. Maybe you feel like you're going nowhere and not sure how to change that. Maybe you feel like you're in a hole with no way to get out and no one around to offer a ladder so you can climb out? You think you're in an impossible situation. You think your vision will never come to pass...that your financial situation will never turn around...that your child will never get on the right path. You're on the verge of giving up hope. If any of that describes you, I'm writing to you today. I want to share with you three keys to getting a turnaround in any impossible situation. If that's what you need today, keep reading! I have learned that the power of prayer is amazing. A prayer can break strongholds. When you pray earnestly, everything you ask that is according to God’s will comes to pass. I have broken chains of evil through prayer and I believe with all my heart that no evil shall follow me but goodness and mercy. Prayer is my communication with God. Psalm 124 paints a beautiful picture of the power of prayer: “If the Lord had not been on our side—let Israel say—if the Lord had not been on our side when men attacked us, when their anger flared against us, they would have swallowed us alive; the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us, the raging waters would have swept us away. Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” I cannot stress enough how important is prayer in a person’s life. I know that these are not great mysteries but reminders. So often we spend our time worrying and dreading our fate instead of understanding that the battle is not over. For you, the battle isn't over even when it's over. You serve a God who can resurrect the dead and turn around your situation! Remember, He's rescued you from defeat before. Trust Him to do so again. He can turn around your situation! Therefore, here are your reminders if you're looking for a turnaround:
It is so critical that you take control of your spirit, your mind, your attitudes and your words when you're facing immense challenges. You must not allow a place for casual conversation and skeptic attitudes in your circle or in your own thoughts. Once you get focused on possibilities and have lifted up your concerns to God, let them go and begin to look forward to your turn around! It may not happen overnight but stay in faith and keep reminding God what He promised you day in and day out. Instead of complaining say, “God you said”. Instead of begging say, “God you said”. Instead of describing the circumstances say, “God you said”. If you get in a habit of praying God’s promises back to Him, you will see God at work in your life. His Word and all of His promises are yes and Amen, because He is able to turn it! Enter into PrayerFather, I thank you for the divine promise of a turnaround in my life in Jesus’ name. Lord, every area where I recorded failure in my life, business, career, marriage, family or ministry, let there be a supernatural turn around in Jesus’ name. Lord, visit the life of my husband and children and bring a divine turnaround for greatness in Jesus’ name. Every generational yoke of failure in my life, cause it to break permanently in Jesus’ name. I decree and declare that rejection, lack and confusion will no longer reign in my life and family in Jesus’ name. I call forth divine turnaround, angelic helpers of destiny and encouragers to locate me in Jesus’ name. I call forth divine promotion in my life and family in Jesus’ name. According to Isaiah 60:16, divine nourishment and royal provisions are mine in Jesus’ name. Father let me be enveloped in the peace and tranquillity of your Divine abiding presence in Jesus’ name. I decree that I have rest from sorrow, turmoil, confusion, violence and every negativity in Jesus’ name. I call forth the glory of God to manifest in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. I prophesy that my family and me have been lifted out of every shortcoming, failure and lack of profitability in life and we are operating in divine success and abundance in Jesus’ name.

10/21/2014 0 Comments Decisions![]() First things first...What’s a decision? The definition of decision is something that somebody chooses or makes up his or her mind about; firmness of choosing. A decision is not a guess or just an estimate. It’s something you should spend time thinking about and comprehend the things you do before you actually do them. Sometimes we slip up. Sometimes we fall. We don’t make smart decisions at times. We might not THINK it through. We don’t really take the time to contemplate what we do sometimes. We don’t fully think about “What will happen if I actually do this?” and “Who will be affected if I make this decision?”. We have to be more aware about what we do and how much we REALLY think about them. Bad decisions have bad repercussions and consequences. It all comes down to that one bad decision. The harder the conflict, the greater the triumph will be. The results of our decisions vary. They can last for an hour or maybe a lifetime. It’s how you deal with it that matters. You can saturate yourself in self-pity or learn how to fly above it and move on. Moving on is the hard part. It’s dealing with it that hurts. It’s accepting it that makes it difficult. This being said, how are you going to let your decision affect you? Will you learn from them and stay optimistic about the results of your decisions or will you have a negative outlook and sulk? One thing I have noticed is the way you act also affects others around you. For the longest, I thought as long I did not say anything or do anything no one will notice. I was terribly wrong. Constantly feeling sorry for yourself, pouting, being locked in your room, or just not saying anything, all affected others around me. Another major question is “How do you move on and cope with your decisions?” Everyone loves to say just move on or get over it. This is easier said than done. Some things you cannot just magically move on from and remove the hurt from your consequences. For starters, always have the right people around you. I have learned the hard way not everyone is for you or wants to see you do better. Remove all the negative people from your life. They will bring you to the ultimate low if you allow them to. Keep yourself busy in order to keep your mind away from it. One thing I still struggle with mostly was forgiveness. Forgiving the people who influenced my decision but most of all myself. I really disappointed myself the most out of anyone. Decisions don’t only affect you, but you also have an effect on others as well. You have to consider the possible people you will disappoint when you make any decision. I could not forgive myself at all. I was stuck in a state of hurt and disappointment. I couldn’t accept it. I didn’t want to come to reality It’s hard to face reality. But it comes a time where you have to let go of all the animosity, disappointments, malice, resentment, hostility, and just hurt period. In order to move on, you have to forgive yourself and/or the people who influenced the decision. Lastly, learn from it. Life is a learning experience. No one likes consequences but they are here for the best. I can honestly say without the consequences I’ve been going through in my life right now, I would be in a really bad place right now. I would have never known what I know now. I thank God that I’m getting lesson to save myself a lifetime worth of disappointment. It took me a very long time to accept it, but now that I’ve accepted it and just moved on from it I’m in a way better place then I was back then. Sometimes God gives us consequences to give us warning signals before an ultimate fall comes. ![]() Contributed by: Kaylah K. Enter into PrayDear Lord, 10/17/2014 0 Comments Expect Your HarvestI Corinthians 9:10 says "…he that plows ought to be plowing in expectation; and he that threshes should be partaker of his expectation." Imagine a farmer with his plow, and hour after hour he is plowing in the field. He is doing this work in expectation that there will be a harvest. If he was convinced that those seeds would not grow, do you think he would take the time to go out and plow, perhaps just so that the other farmers could see that he knew how to plow? No, he would not waste his time. But if he believes that the seeds will grow, he plows in expectation; he plows with the distinct understanding that this is the necessary and logical thing to do, because there is going to be a harvest. The farmer in I Corinthians 9:10 who was plowing his field, putting all he knew into, was not just hoping, wishing and praying, he was really expecting a harvest. But the action most of us take between the moment of believing and the manifestation of the answer, is not to express our expectation but to make preparation for the non-arrival of the answer. It seems as if they mostly spend their time as if the answer was not coming. Even people who say they are walking on the Word, when they have a need, seem to spend as much time, if not more time, trying to find some way around the problem as if the answer is not coming, than they do in an attitude of expectation. The most important key in the period between believing and manifesting the harvest, is where you are in your "expectation". Are we really expecting God to supply that particular need? Yes, we do. We expect it the moment we first believe, yes, that day and maybe a day or two after, but if there is any length of time between the believing and the manifestation we stop the attitude of expectancy and we get into a hope situation. We hope, wish and start worrying if it will ever happen. We're no longer expecting it, and the enemy has tricked us on that one little point. There is thin line between expectation and hope, but it is there that the enemy gives us a nudge over from the side of expectation into hope, because he knows that by so doing he can hinder us. You must be on your guard all the time and keep your mind geared to the fact that you are standing on the greatness of God's Word and you can expect Him to do what He said He will do. So, how do we show our expectation? Hebrews 10:23 says, "Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)." You are encouraged to hold fast the confession of your expectation "without wavering". We must, "hold fast the confession of our expectation without wavering". Your expectation will show itself by your words and by your actions; your talk and your walk. Whatever I am expecting will come out in my confession. If I am expecting the worst to happen, sooner or later I am going to begin to confess it. If I am expecting to be bankrupt and in foreclosure by the end of the year, sooner or later my conversation is going to come out that I am almost broke and homeless. But if I am expecting the very best, sooner or later it is going to come out in my conversation that my greater is here. But we waver, suddenly, when we're flooded with bills, contracts are slow coming in or sales are low this month? The wavering occurs when you take your eyes off the Word and get them on people and circumstances around you. But as long as you know you are poised and balanced in Christ, standing sometimes on your tiptoe in expectation and but yet firmly balanced on the Word, there is no need room to waver. It is when you are not convinced that you start wavering. God encourages you to "hold fast", not to just save face, but "hold fast to the confession of your expectation without wavering." And why should you hold fast to it? "For he is faithful that promised." It is God that promised it, and when God promises something, it is guaranteed. Now you must say what the Word says, not what the circumstances seem to say, not what the economy says, not even what your wife or husband, your best friends, or your neighbors say. This is one vital way in which you demonstrate the fact that you are expecting results. When you really believe it, then your expectation will come into manifestation as Hebrews 11:1 says: "Now belief is the assumption of things expected, the exposing of things not seen." Believing is knowing that it is truth and expecting it to become fact in the future. Believing is the key to receiving. There will be no receiving a harvest without believing; there will be no results without believing. Expectation is the key to believing and this is shown by confession. Enter into Intercession Tuesday to affirm and confess your harvest. Heavenly Father remove from me any wrong thoughts, fear, doubt, unbelief, believing any lies of the enemy, any thoughts that I have that are hindering me now in coming to You. I ask You, Father God, to deliver me now of all hindrances that will prevent me from living in expectation in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name. I resist the devil and all his demonic spirits must flee and leave my presence. Lord God, remove the lies and the hindrances and help me so I can say this prayer of expectancy in earnest from my heart! I ask You to force out, drive out, and bind all evil things far away from me that would hinder my atmosphere of faith. 10/8/2014 0 Comments Made WholeThis month is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month". This type of cancer as well as other types of cancers today has affected many people. There has been some medical explanations as to why we have seen a dramatic increase in the cases of cancer and other sicknesses. However I believe a spirit of infirmity cause many of the sicknesses that we see today. But Jesus has power over the spirit of infirmity and He desires that it be loosed, lifted and removed from His people. In Luke 13:10-17 we read of a woman who was loosed from her spirit of infirmity. "Now He [Jesus] was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." Like this woman, many of us have a “spirit of infirmity”- we have something that keeps us ‘down’, disables us from being able to raise ourselves up to our fullest potential. It is these things that we try to “loosen” ourselves from “again and again”…we resolve to unbind ourselves to these circumstances, habits, attitudes. But like this woman, we cannot do this on our own. We must remember that a “spirit of infirmity” can only be truly “loosened” by the power of Christ. The American Heritage dictionary defines infirmity as lacking power, disability, bodily disability, frailty, or moral weakness. Some verses of scripture at times will refer to infirmity or infirmities as sickness in body, but at other times infirmity and infirmities mean moral weakness in the flesh. So the meaning of these words may go either way. And in every other instance where these words do refer to sickness and disease we see that it was always the will of Almighty God to heal His people from the oppression of the enemy. So don't let the enemy deceive you into accepting an infirmity in your body. This is a lie from pits of hell seeking to devour you, and if you do not resist him then he will overcome you. We all know that it is God's will that mankind will receive healing, but we also know that this is not going to happen just because it is God's Will. It requires the faith and every individual must believe for themselves in order to receive healing from sickness or disease. You must believe until the end, until healing is manifested in your body. However, like this woman, we must also be listening for the call, and we must go to Him, and we must acknowledge that we have been “loosed”! When Jesus said to the woman, “you are loosed!”, she could have gone back to sitting…after all, it was her familiar habit for 18 years! But, she didn’t, she was made straight and she glorified God because of it! What about you? Is there something from which you long to be loosed? Do you feel a spiritual or even physical infirmity that is hindering you from glorifying God? I encourage you today to pray that God loose, lift and heal your every infirmity!
