![]() This past Friday in The Sanctuary was absolutely amazing. It seemed that every lesson and teaching that we experienced throughout 2012 culminated on the last Friday of 2013. The divine and revelatory Word we received was, "Freedom to Gain Access to the Open Door". We are in the Year of the Open Door according to Jewish Calendar, the year of Ayin Dalet, 5774. Many Christians are unaware of the Jewish calendar and its role in Christendom. In studying this over the last few months, my findings have changed my life. Yes, today we are about to transition into 2014 according to the Gregorian/Roman calendar, however on the Jewish calendar, we have already transitioned into a New Year. The Jewish Holiday, Rosh HaShanah was celebrated on September 5, 2013, which is The Jewish New Year. There was much emphasis at the beginning of this decade (5770′s or 2010′s) on the cultivation of prophetic insight. The Word of the Lord associated with 2010 was that “the next 7-10 years will be pivotal in our lives". God is admonishing us to line up our lives so that we would participate in the next cycle of the decade—appropriately called “The Decade of the Kingdom.” This means that the door is open for believers to calibrate with the agenda of God for the coming year. I often look at things from an additional perspective that includes not only the revelation of the Holy Spirit but the ways of God. So, if it is the "Year of the Open Door," then it is helpful to ask: "What are the requirements to go from one stage to the next?" We need to consider: "To go through an open door, do you have to close some old doors first?" As I spent time with the Lord and followed the direction of the Holy Spirit this year there has been times that I had to do somethings I had never done. I had to close some doors on relationships, severe some deep seeded soul ties and die to my desires and my wants to accomplish what God has purposed for me. I have had to come out of my tent of limitation and comfort to go through the door to realize the destiny God has for me. Many of us are kept from our destiny because we refuse to acknowledge the purpose for which we were created. Sometimes we want to be anything BUT what God has called us to be. Romans 9:20 says, “Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, ‘Why have you made me like this?’” But I am here to tell you the more quickly you embrace the obvious purposes of God for your life, the sooner you will see the promise. Be brave! Remember it is He, the Lord, Who will lead you out of the tent – if you are willing to honestly look. Doors will open this year as you are willing to walk through them. If we make the transition right, we will not recognize ourselves in the next decade, but God will. What has evaded you will come into your field of view summoning your involvement? What is "the thing" that may prevent you from walking through that open door? "The thing" can be described as the “thing (s)” you are currently doing that hinders you from cooperating with the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. That “thing” preoccupies you and diverts your attention away from God. This year, you will turn yet another year older and it's insane to think you can continue to do the same thing and get different results. If you want to live the life God predestined for you—the life of your dreams, allow Him to assist you in getting rid of "the thing in hand," so you can walk into this New Year with New Liberty and New Revelation as there is wide door of opportunity that is open for you! There is a new well that is waiting for you in your land. Go through your doors of opportunity and enter and occupy the land God has given you. We are in the time of Isaiah 22:22 where the Lord is releasing the authority to empower, impart, and equip a company of people with the keys of the Kingdom. These keys unlock the door of the Kingdom within His people that will enable them to rule with dominion under an opens heaven with the authority of Christ the Lion of Judah. Walk Through Your Open Door ~ Yolanda D. Declare Your Freedom and Access to Your Open DoorsHeavenly Father, we praise and worship You, and we thank You for giving us the Key to the House of David, according to Isaiah 22:22. We take authority in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to use this Key to the House of David to close off, lock, shut and seal with the Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, all doors, portals, entry ways, windows, and any other openings to prevent any demonic curses, demonic spirits, witchcraft prayers, ungodly sourish prayers, demonic assignments, satanic activities, deception, confusion, hindrances, or lies of the enemy that attempt to enter into our presence. Heavenly Father we use this Key to the House of David according to Isaiah 22:22 in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to open all doors, portals, windows, entry ways and all openings to enable all blessings, gifts and promises of GOD that You wish to give us to enter into our presence.

If your year has been anything like mine, it has been a year of endings. I have experienced the ending of many relationships and I have been relinquished of many titles. To add to that, at this time of year I am deeply and dearly missing loved ones who ended their earthly walk years ago. I know it has been difficult to stay positive and upbeat. I know your mood may not be very merry and your life may be anything but calm and bright but I want you to be encouraged and remember the promises that began to come into fruition during the time we are observing as Christmas. It is my prayer that if we remember that Jesus is the reason for the season that we can be joyful, at peace and merry. We celebrate the birth of Jesus at this time and we should remember that through his birth, at that exact time, to those exact parents and in that exact place, promises from God became concrete. People had been waiting, calculating, hoping and it finally happened. The book of Luke gives us an account of the challenging circumstances under which Jesus was born. It tells us how God orchestrated the entire situation so that Jesus was born exactly as it had been prophesied. When the angels appeared to the shepherds in Luke 2:11, he said: "The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!" Upon receiving this news, the shepherds didn't ask the angels who the Messiah was. This further confirmed that this was surely a topic that had been discussed; a promised and expected event. In Luke 2:25,26, we read about Simeon: "At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah." Simeon was waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. He was in expectation of the Lord's Messiah and was happy to hear of his birth because he knew that Jesus was coming to save us. So, what does this mean for us? The birth of Jesus was prophesied long before his actual birth took place. People were in great expectation of this event because they knew it would create a shift that would benefit God's people beyond what could ever be imagined. AND IT HAPPENED EXACTLY AS GOD PROMISED! What else has God promised us? God promises us that He has made plans for us. Plans for future and hope (Jeremiah 29:11). He promised us that if we are heavy of heart and overburdened that He will give us rest (Matthew 11:28, 29). He promised that if we trust Him and wait on Him, He will renew our strength (Isaiah 40:29-30). He promised to supply all of our needs (Phillipians 4:19). He said that victory is ours through Christ who loved us (Romans 8:37-39). We know that it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18). He wouldn't have gone to such great lengths to send Jesus as our salvation to leave us now. Contributed by: Veronica F. Enter Into Prayer Father we come to you right now on behalf of all those laden down with heavy hearts. Those missing loved ones who have finished their earthly walks. Those feeling alone at this time because they are unmarried. Those who feel less than merry because they don't have children to share this time of childlike wonder with. I pray that all are reminded of the great care You took to ensure that Jesus arrival on earth happened exactly as you promised it would. I pray that they remember your promise at Matthew 11:28, 29 that we can find rest in You, Father. We pray that their strength is renewed as you promised us in Isaiah 40:29, 30. We pray that they believe You when you say at Jeremiah 29:11 that you made plans for us, Father. Plans for a future and of hope. 12/18/2013 0 Comments Get Your House In Order!![]() I believe that how you end something is how you will begin! And the past few days I have been winter cleaning…de-cluttering, getting rid of, bringing this house into order mode. I intend to begin 2014 with a physical and spiritual house that is in order. Order helps us get things done. It gives us an anchor so we’re able to deal with the bigger problems we face. The truth is, if we’re unable to manage the everyday details of our lives, how are we going to deal with crises when they erupt? How are we going to face the enemy when we can’t face a sink full of dirty dishes? And how will we help anyone else with their issues if our life is ruled by chaos? Order is a good thing. It is defined as "a condition in which each thing is properly disposed with reference to other things and to its purpose; methodical or harmonious arrangement". In Genesis 1 it says that, "The earth was without order, and empty"; it speaks of the chaos that reigned on the earth before God began His work of creation and before He brought everything into a perfect order and harmony. He then speaks "let there be light" and everything changes at once. Did you catch that? From nothing to everything, from chaos to order. God changed everything. The Spirit of God had been studying…examining…lingering and only after this hovering did God take action and move by bringing order. And as He looked at His creation, He was so pleased with the "order" He brought to "chaos"; He declared that it was “very good.” But it's important to note that God brought order from chaos by first hovering over the earth. When the earth was without form and void, the Spirit of God hovered over the abyss as He began to bring order out of disorder. This was His Holy wind of love conveying the promise of life, order, and beauty to what was of itself a mess. Because God’s spirit was hovering over it, chaos became promise and by speaking to it, He brought light. God’s actions in creation help us understand how He approaches our lives, and the ways He can help us today. For God still brings clarity to confusion. He replaces disorganization with organization. Uncertainty is replaced by certainty. Chaos is replaced by order. Those who are aimless are given His plans. Emptiness is replaced by meaning and purpose. And any sense of darkness is replaced by His light. Are there areas of your life that feel chaotic or out of control and could use God's light? As we approach this new year, take responsibility and bring order to your chaos. This is an opportunity to look over our marriage, family, relationships; business and personal, finances, and stewardship and ask God to bring order out of chaos. It may seem as if our marriage or our family is falling apart – it could be an illness, or death; it could be infidelity or lack of commitment; it could be falling into depression, the routine, the unhealthy comfort of life; it could be an abandonment of our spiritual connection with God and thus with one another. Whatever it is that’s brought disorder and chaos in our life, in our marriage, in our family, we can ask God to send His Holy Spirit to restore order, to bring back harmony, to make something very good out of the chaos we have created. Pray and ask your Heavenly Father, to speak to the chaos in your life so that He can shine His light so that He can get your house in order with His plans, His peace and His joy! Enter Into PrayerOnly you Father, can bring order out of this chaos. Say the word, All-Powerful God, and I know that the seas will be calmed, and I will be safe. My circumstances have obscured my view. I look to You and struggle to see because I am drowning. Life is hitting me on every side, and I fight to regroup and press on. My brain is scrambled. Exhaustion, confusion and discouragement overtake me. Today Father, I ask You, the God of my life, the God of order to bring order to my life, and in doing so, take care of all those concerns that rise up around me like storm waves. Hover over me and calm the seas of my busyness; still the waters of my forgetfulness. Let me drift on the gentle winds of your love and care. I command my soul to be still, as I long to sit quietly in Your presence and meditate on Your goodness! Your ever-faithful presence is a gift. You alone grant me clarity and peace. Only you can grant me the wisdom needed for every decision. ![]() An important key to our happiness and success in life is having a healthy and functioning family structure. But so many families today are at odds; not speaking to one another or holding grudges fueling bitterness and unforgiveness. Our Heavenly Father wants us to have strong, loving families and one of the great helps he has given us to achieve this is family prayer. Ephesians 1:5 says, "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure." When God created humans, he designed us to live in families. Family relationships, therefore, are important to God. Even the church, the universal body of believers, is called the "family" of God. When we receive God's Spirit at salvation, we are adopted into his family. We come to this earth charged with a mission: to learn to love and serve one another. To best help us accomplish this, God has placed us in families, for he knows that is where we can best learn to overcome selfishness, insincerity and pride. We learn how to sacrifice for others and to make happiness, helpfulness, humility and love the very essence of our character. We learn that friends and neighbors come and go but family is forever, and as we learn this, we find that we are eternally our brother’s keeper and we begin to realize how much help we need. All of us, single or married, are eternally part of some family—someway, somewhere, somehow—and much of our joy in life comes as we correctly recognize and properly develop those family relationships. We develop, maintain and learn how to properly deal with these relationships through prayer. Prayer in the family is most important. It is that special time when we invite God to be a constant Presence in our family. To be the Head and the King of our family. It does not mean the absence of tough times but it means grace to stand and overcome tough times. It does not mean the absence of quarrels and troubles but it prepares us on how to handle every challenge as a Christian family and above all it constantly reminds us we are one and should remain one. My family has experienced its fair share of arguments and troubles in the past five years, and we have held on to prayer even more. Some relationships have been developed and strengthened while others have grown distant or are non existent. But that does not stop me from praying for my family. You know the sayings that says that a family that prays together stays together is true - a family that has their focus on praying to the Lord Jesus Christ has a foundation that may be shaken at times, but it will withstand all that comes against them. Enter Into IntercessionFather, we thank you for blessing us with our family. We thank you for the gift of family. We acknowledge that our image and name as family come from you. We believe that within our family lies You. We affirm that it is in this household of faith that we experience your presence, your forgiveness, and your love. 12/3/2013 0 Comments The Sins of the Father![]() A few months ago, I was deeply saddened by the actions of a teenager in my life that I love dearly; deeply. As I thought about the decisions they were making and the downward spiral they were preparing for themselves, I asked how could they end up in such a state? It broke my heart when I came to the realization that, though they had a pretty good meter for right and wrong, all of the root behaviors they were engaged in were behaviors they had learned through the decisions that were made by their parents. I reached out to one of my faithful prayer warriors and asked that she pray for that teenager and also for God to give me guidance as to how I could love them back onto the path God had ordained for them. She sent me a prayer very similar to the following prayer and today, I am praying this prayer for every parent and every child that needs it. Enter Into IntercessionHeavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, we affirm Your Word over our sons and daughters. We commit our teenagers to You and affirm Your Word over them from Isaiah 54:13 that tells us our children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the their peace. I thank You that You deliver them out of rebellion into right relationship with us, their parents. In Exodus 20:12, Your Word teaches us that the first commandment given with a promise is to the child who obeys his/her parents in the Lord. Father, You said in Deuteronomy 5:16 that all will be well with our children and they will live long on the earth. I affirm this promise on behalf of our children, asking You to give them an obedient spirit that they may honor their parents. Father, forgive us for mistakes made out of our own hurts or selfishness, which may have caused our children hurt. I ask full and true repentance for the mistakes we have made in raising out children. I release the anointing that is upon Jesus to bind up and heal our broken hearts and the broken hearts of our children. Give us the ability to understand and forgive one another as God has forgiven us. Thank You for the Holy Spirit Who leads us into all truth and corrects any wrong perceptions about past or present situations. Thank You for teaching us to listen to each other and giving our children an ear that hears admonition, for then they will be called wise. We affirm that we will speak kind, excellent and Godly things and that any words coming out of our mouths will be the right words and will be used for Your glory Lord Jesus (Colossians 3:21). Father, we promise to train and teach our in the way that they are to go, and when they are old they will not depart from You Lord, but will follow You all the days of their lives. In the Name of Jesus, we command the spirit of rebellion to be far from the hearts of our children and confess that they are willing and obedient, free to enjoy the reward of Your promises. We ask that our children shall be peaceful, and a blessing to others. Father, we release the word of reconciliation into our families. We refuse to provoke or irritate or belittle them; We will not be hard on them or require perfection lest they become discouraged, feeling inferior or frustrated. We will not do anything that may break their spirits, in the Name of Jesus. Father, we forgive our children for the wrongs they have done and stand in the gap until they begin to understand Your love and Your grace while they are in the snare of the enemy (Ephesians 6:1-3). We know You Jesus, died for our children, even before they were born. Although it may seem to us that our children's journey into selfishness, self-destruction and the world is never-ending, God we know You are at work in our children's lives in ways we may never understand. We ask you, Heavenly Father, for a quiet assurance that this process of conversion will take place and the inner peace that only You, Lord Jesus can give us, will now manifest in our lives, in the Name of Jesus. Help us to be strong like Mary, the mother of Jesus, as she wept and felt deep pain as she witnessed her Son's journey knowing God's plan; as You knew Your plans for our children, even before they were born (Jeremiah 1:2). Help us O Lord, to know and understand that we must let God control difficult situations and always be mindful to trust You. Heavenly Father, help us to remember always that our children have belonged to you from the beginning. Help us Lord to understand that we are here to nurture them and guide them in Your ways while they are in our care. Lord, we have been mindful to raise them up in the way they should go, having made some mistakes of the flesh as we are not perfect. We did what we thought was right at the time and we know that you, Lord, know our hearts and honor that effort. It is so difficult Lord, to understand them and to be the way they would like us to be. Thank You for reconciling the hearts of our rebellious children back to us and our hearts back to our children. Thank You Lord, for our children and for holding each one of them in Your loving hands. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen. As we live our lives and raise our children, may we ALWAYS remember that if we do not break the soul ties and genertional ills in our lives they are destined to repeat themselves in the lives of our children.
I pray for complete deliverance for all of us parents in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Veronica F. |
