From Pain Birthed Purpose
Yolanda Kelty-Douthit is a passionate, transparent leader dedicated to being a vessel for change and healing. A devoted wife to Monte Douthit, she is the middle child of three born to the late Reverend Marvin N. Kelty and the late Pastor Rosa L. Marion. Raised in Charlotte, NC, Yolanda was deeply rooted in faith and strong Christian values, influenced by her parents’ pastoral, philanthropic, and humanitarian work within the community.  

With extensive experience in ministry, Yolanda has served in various capacities, dedicating her life to building *The Sanctuary*. Committed to the call of spreading the "Good News," she believes in the biblical mandate to “study to show thyself approved.” Ordained by her mother in November 2014, Yolanda pursued academic excellence, earning a Bachelor of Science in Religion and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. She is currently furthering her education at Hampton University, pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Theology and Community Engagement, reflecting her passion for integrating faith and community impact.

Embracing her dual calling of preaching and teaching, Pastor Yolanda is deeply passionate about the Word of God and discipleship, with aspirations to teach in academic institutions. She remains open to all that God makes possible, seeking continual growth in knowledge and wisdom, following Christ's example.
