Rosa’s Refuge is being birthed in the spirit of Hanukkah and in honor of Pastor Rosa Marion (“Momma Rosa”), who was known for taking food, prayer, and laughter under bridges and into forgotten places. On December 21, 2025, we will continue her legacy by sharing her light with our unhoused neighbors in Metro Atlanta—distributing bag lunches, socks, gloves, scarves, hats, and toiletries to offer warmth, dignity, and care. This Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) outreach is our way of becoming a living menorah in the city, carrying the light of Christ into places often left in the dark, led by her eldest daughter, Pastor Yolanda Douthit, and The Sanctuary Ministries.
