11/27/2013 1 Comment When Others Say, "There Ain't No Way"As we go into this season of holidays, I begin to reflect on all that has transpired in my personal world and the worlds of those closest to me. It is only by God's grace that we are still standing, upright, heads lifted to the heavens, full of praise and true thankfulness. I am thankful for God's grace. I am thankful that when life seemed to look at me and those I love and say, "Ain't no way," God said, "Yes!" I am thankful that in our sufferings, we rejoiced, knowing that suffering produces endurance (Romans 5:3 ESV). I give thanksgiving, rejoicing, though for a little while, we have been grieved by various trials, which tested the genuineness of our faith and we now give praise and glory and honor at the revelation of the presence of our appreciation of the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf (1 Peter 1:6,7 ESV) I am grateful that things that were meant for evil against us, God meant for good and that those hearing how we overcame that evil, through the favor of God, may be saved (Genesis 50:20). I am so thankful that all of my loved ones, through their suffering, looked to Jesus Christ as an example of perfect faith (Hebrew 12:2 ESV). I am grateful that through tribulation, illness, suffering and great loss we all maintained our dignity and were not ashamed because we believed and are yet convinced (2 Timothy 1:12) that God will deliver all that he has promised to us. I am so happy that every test was turned into a testimony. Every bit of heartache was endured with prayer, supplication and praise. In every situation we arose as the victor and not the victim. As we go into the end of this world's calendar year, though I had my share of troubles, me and mine are dancing, singing and praising. All glory and honor to God. The one who kept me in the midst of it all. Can I get a witness?! ~ Written By: V. Franklin Enter Into Worship

What is Worship?
The Apostle Paul described true worship perfectly in Romans 12:1:
“I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship." Worship is first of all an experience. It may express itself through certain forms, but it is not primarily a form. It is an experience. It is a consciousness of the presence of God and a response to that consciousness. Worship expresses itself as an outreach of the deepest emotions of the soul in adoration, reverence, homage, exaltation, and praise to the Almighty. We hope that our Worship Wednesday creates a deeper more meaningful worship experience for you. Visit our other inspirational blog
